Finally!  Graduating at last!

Following a brutally long graduation ceremony, the DeVries family gathered for a late dinner at Palermo's in Oak Lawn to relax and celebrate.  Saturday afternoon we continued the celebration with more family and friends at my parents' house in Tinley Park!  Thanks to everyone who came out to party with us!

Now for the real challenge... attempting to fit all the things I will need for this summer and the list of things Lara is hoping I'll bring in just two suitcases without going over the weight limit!  Another concern, of course, is trying to anticipate my dog, Nico's, needs for spending the summer with my parents and choosing which photos of her I will take with me :)

I'm really excited for my time in Peru & can't wait to  meet the women and kids at Light & Leadership Initiative!  Wish me luck!
