Woke up early at 6:30am and the bus left at 7am. Spend six hours on the bus to Miami and slept the whole way. Robbie couldn't even go on the trip because of complications with his VISA since he is from Barbados. Arrived to a hot and humid Ecuador around 10pm. After customs, getting baggage and piling into another bus to get to the hotel, it was about 11pm. Checked in and went out with friends to the strip Sona Rosa where the majority of bars and clubs are. We went to this Cuban Bar and mingled with the Ecuadorian people. Hours of dancing and tequila and went back to the hotel to sleep for somewhat of the night. The hotel was exceptionally comfortable with extremely soft beds. The first night, I noticed that we were glared at; I think because they were half interested and half disgusted. Walking home, we noticed the spotlessly clean sidewalks made of tile that are mopped daily. Good first night.
