As a school group, we went to Guayaquil and volunteered at children facilties helping with sanding, painting, building etc..

A Tia is there main grocery store in the city. Similar to WalMart, but minature. More like a CVS with groceries and selected clothes and shoes. It seems like a WalMart in a city. It couldn't be that big because of space, but had all of the necessities. Pretty much a one stop shop for food, clothes, shoes, liquor, movies etc. It was really packed at 5pm and security guards with sawed-off shotguns. That was different. But not for Ecuador because we saw them everywhere. Not much else to say about Tia. I have been to similar places before.
