McDonalds here was relatively the same as it is at home except for the small differences. They had many more dessert choices and there is actuallly a separate, detached hut to order dessert. It is set in front of the building. They had various sundaes, icecream flavors and toppings, including an orange flavor topping. Coffee options are extensive as they offer coffee, lattes, and cappachinos and they boast 100% premium. The overall menu is much smaller, and they dont offer the same options, only the basics. Surprisingly, they had real ketchup, unlike the majority of Ecuador and Latin America in general. The food at McDonalds tastes the same, and the decor of the restaurant is the same as well. I have also noticed that alot of people here love McDonalds and dirve arounf with a sticker on their cars that reads, "Me encanta", over the arches. That's pretty gross.
