Regardless of how much I pack, I will not feel like I have a sufficient amount for four months.

Happy New Year! I decided today was a good day to start packing up my suitcases, considering I am leaving on Tuesday...and I had all my clothes organized on my bed so if I didn't pack, I would have nowhere to sleep. I have all of my clothes in their nice cool space saver bags and they take up all of the space I have for the two suitcases. It's utterly ridiculous. Everything else for my life has to somehow fit into my carry on bag and purse. I am going to organize some stuff for my parents to mail to me once I arrive at Bond for the room--so it isn't so bland and empty. Four months of my life in three bags. It doesn't seem like it's going to work, but it has to. We will have to take many a trip to Target to pick up stuff we forgot/need once we get there.

I'm mostly nervous about the plane ride because I get anxious and my ears do NOT like elevation at all. I get to be the cool kid wearing the ear plugs and drugged out on Zantax. Today one of my friends sent a text message that finally got to me. I will miss all of my friends back at school, but a select few at home- including my family- obviously, have most of it.

I think I will go listen to some 3oh!3 and organize stuff that has to go into a clear plastic bag for the airport.

My flight leaves at 640p from JFK. I'm trying to mentally prepare for jet lag and such. I wonder how my body will adjust. I'm pretty good at adapting to new things quickly, but this is totally different now.
