23 hours on a plane didn't really hit me...until I was on it for that long...

The flight was about as good as a 23 hour plane ride can possibly get. After getting through securty (having to go through metal detectors twice because of my phone and jewelry)- Kyra, Linds, and I went upstairs and (after endless waves from family) got some food. Our flight didn't board until 6:10pm and we had arrived at the airport @ 2pm. When it was time to get on there was some sort of complication and we had to wait another half hour. Finally we got on (not many people were on the flight to LA, which was nice) and Kyra sad in the middle, Linds by the window, and I on the aisle. Having taken enough Xantax to kill a small horse (haha, jk) I was not too shaken about take off. Overall from JFK to LAX it was smooth, they gave us dinner and I drank about a gallon of water. Somehow for most of it, I felt lightheaded and occasionally I had to keep my eyes closed. We got to LAX 5 hours later and had to get off for a security check and sat around for an hour. The flight from LAX to Sydney was wonderful but by this point I was restless and miserable. They had 50 movie choices and TV shows and fed us supper, snacks and breakfast. They also gave us little packs with headphones, an eye mask, and toothbrush and tooth paste. I could not get comfy and got sleep in bits of only 10-20 minutes. My legs need to be crossed at almost all times so whenever someone would walk by they would hit me and I would wake up. The last couple of hours were full of anxiety. We arrived into Sydney around 9:30am Australia time.
