The severely disabled beggars in China (Kunming in particular) with dead, skeletal limbs, who would spend hours writing out messages for help on the sidewalks (most in Chinese, some in English), which were washed away in seconds when the authorities got to them. Also, the homeless of Phnom Penh trying to wash in the stinking river
