Today we went to Conwy!  I wasn't fond of the early departure, but I got a good nap on the bus.  When I awoke, it was to the sight of a great castle!  It was really a spectacular sight.  When I was exploring the castle I tried to imagine what it would be like to live there.  The signs gave me some idea as to what areas would serve what purpose in the castle.  In the future though, I think it would be a good idea to get a guided tour.  The guided tour could explain things better and really add some useful information.  We had a lot of free time in Conwy so we could definitely take the time to do that.

I love being able to look out and see the sea, even though the wind blowing in from it was quite cold!  I must say a little sunshine would be greatly appreciated.  Conwy is really scenic and historical and a great place to visit.  I also enjoyed seeing the smallest house in the UK.  As hard as it was for me to imagine living in the castle, it is even more difficult to think of living in such a cramped space.  It's definitely not a place that you would lounge around!  However, in the winter time as cold as it gets the poor fellow who lived there wouldn't have much choice but to remain in the cramped house all the time!

Wales is a beautiful place and I'm looking forward to going there for Bank Holiday.  While it will be cold, we should still have lots of fun there.
