Last day in London!  It was rainy, which was kind of disappointing.  The London Eye isn’t quite so spectacular with the rain and gray skies.  Still, it was a site to see!  And now I can say that I’ve done it.  I didn’t realize that the London Eye was a big Ferris wheel.  I’m pretty sure most of the people back home don’t know what it is, if they have even heard of it at all.  I’ll be more than happy to inform them about it!  After the London Eye it was lunchtime!  On a sunnier day, I would have liked to have a picnic in Hyde Park, but instead we stopped at a nice little place and had some brunch.  Then we wondered over to Buckingham Palace to walk around there.  Kristyn’s friend Will from Ormskirk came with us and it was really nice to have him around.  He’s from London and could answer all our questions.  We spent quite a while wondering around there and had to book it to make it all the way back to the globe.  We missed the first scene, but I was familiar with the play and could understand what was happening.  I really enjoyed Macbeth, but the standing got to me.  I now have a bruise on my foot from it and it’s making walking difficult.  Just a little souvenir from London!  Anyways, Macbeth was amazing.  The acting was fantastic and made it easy to follow.  It’s incredible to think that a play written so long ago is still be performed today.  I wonder what will become “classics” from the era that I’m growing up in.  Not “Shakespeare classic” exactly, but just what media from this generation will still be enjoyed in the future.  I wonder if the “Cupid Shuffle” will become the next “Electric Slide.”  I look forward to seeing what will happen.  However, I also don’t because that means I’ll be old and that seems crazy to me!
