Well in case you didn't notice, I messed up the dates when I was journaling.  Robin Hood was Tuesday, but I entered it as Monday.  Whoops!

Today was just another typical day, nothing too exciting.  I feel like I should journal about something worthwhile though, so I'll talk about the film we watched in the Shakespeare class today.  As I have mentioned previously, I love films set back in time, so I was excited to watch some of "The Other Boleyn Girl" today.  I have seen the film before, but I have such a terrible memory when it comes to books and movies and can never remember what happened.  Though I hate that I can never remember how a movie ended or who was in it or such things, it's somewhat of a blessing as well because I can always re-watch movies and reread books and not tire of them because I inevitably forgot what happened.

Anyways, The Other Boleyn Girl is about Henry the VIII, a very important man in history.  I love the performances in this movie and really empathize with the characters.  It tells history in a creative way and embellishes it to create a captivating movie.  The politics of that age in England are very interesting.  It was a time when Henry the VIII broke away from the Catholic Church in order to marry Anne Boleyn.  Although the film was loose with history and somewhat inaccurate, it still portrays important historic events and gives an idea of the politics of that time period.
