Thoughts from the morning:

"So I really don't have much to say right now. I got up early this morning to give myself lots of time to pack, get ready, and get some breakfast. But it turns out that it doesn't take me that long to get ready, packing was easy, and nothing is open for breakfast on campus on Saturdays. (I was very sad about the breakfast thing.. I saved my dining dollars for it.) I think I'll be eating oatmeal cookies for breakfast.. haha..

So I figured I would use as much of this free internet as I can. I'm not sure how much I'll be able to use it in London. I'm SO pumped for London. The England vs. USA football match (soccer) will be going on while we're there so we're definitely going to be watching that.

This trip is going by kind of fast. It's already been three weeks. 7 weeks from now I'll be on a plane back to the States. Craziness.. I'm really excited for Barcelona. I think that's going to be my favorite city that I go to. We have all the weekends but one free while we're there so I think I might plan a weekend trip to Italy. Or maybe even as far as Greece. I'm not quite sure yet. Four weeks in Barcelona.. ahhh that's going to be *amazing*. I requested to stay with a host family, but I won't find out until later about that. I hope the family is nice and that I get along with them. I'm a little nervous about that..

I'd been talking about this trip so much before I came that it's almost hard to believe that it's actually happening. Crazy stuff.. Anyways, I probably should get going now. Just thought I'd submit one more little rambling post."

After a nice long train ride we arrived in London.  The city looks really nice and I can't wait to explore it!  I went and did typical touristy things and saw the Big Ben and took lots of pictures.  London reminds me a lot of New York City, so I think I'm going to like it here.  Then we went to the Texas Embassy to eat.  It was quite tasty.  I love spicy Mexican food.  I wonder what the food will be like in Spain.  If it will be anything like Mexican food.. I love cilantro, and I bet they use a lot of that.

Then I enjoyed a nice night in and just relaxed in the hotel.  It seems nice enough.

Cheers.
