Free day in London!  So you know what that means- sleeping in of course!   I then decided to go for a run around London.  There was sunshine for once so I decided to take advantage of it.  I was going to go running in Hyde Park, but unfortunately my rail card had been lost so I was forced to stick around Hammersmith area.  Still it was a nice day for a run.  I didn’t get lost, which is actually quite a feat for me, especially with the way that the cities here are organized.  In New York City, it is very much a grid and easy to maneuver around.  London, however, has a lot of angled streets, round-abouts, and twisted streets, as do a lot of British towns.  And while this is interesting and scenic, it makes it very easy to get lost!

            The rest of my day wasn’t terribly exciting.  I took advantage of the time off to catch up on some homework and do some planning for the rest of the week.  I also skyped my family.  I have recently become quite homesick and I miss them very much.  I don’t really want to leave Europe; I just wish they could be here with me!
