     Today we had another excursion.  Our destination today was Rufford Old Hall.  (Which seems a weird way of saying it- you would think it would be Old Rufford Hall.  I feel like I'm speaking Spanish or something when they put their adjectives after nouns.  Anyways...)  So once more we boarded the bus and made the short trip there.

    Once more I was impressed with the beauty of England.  I love the countryside with it's old houses and beautiful gardens.  I enjoyed our tour of Rufford Old Hall.  He was a good tour guide, and it was really interesting to hear of the supposed "ghosts" in Rufford Old Hall.  I liked hearing the history of the place and imagining what it must have been like.  England is immersed in so much history.  You don't have to go very far before you happen upon some kind of historical landmark or building.  I think that's part of the appeal of England to me.  That, and the accents :)
