What is the most unusual word that you have ever heard?

I have no idea how to spell it but it basically means "crazy head" in Cambodian. My mom, who's Cambodian, taught it to us when we were just little kids.

Don't Cry for Me, Argentina!

This is the real world and reality bites. In this economy the modern woman, finding herself unemployed and with no savings left, is lucky to have her mother’s sofa to sleep on, her neighbors’ dogs to sit for to earn grocery money and friends to buy her drinks! So when everything you’ve worked for, and everything you thought you wanted, is pulled out from under you, where do you go? To Buenos Aires of course!

It’s fun and excitement and it’s the kind of adventure that can only happen when you give up what you thought was expected and embrace the unexpected!

 people take FOREVER once they get to the machine too. I have no idea what they're typing in there, their life history? 

July 13, 2010:  Aren't ATMs supposed to have money in them? My day touring the ATMs of the city went something like this: Me (staring at a line of people waiting for one ATM with an empty ATM right next to it): ¿Funciona ese cajero? Response of a weary local: Ese tampoco no tiene dinero. Of course not. It seems visiting an ATM here is not the speedy and gratifying experience it is back home... I have no idea what is up with the ATMs around here.  Nine times out of ten they have no money in them.  People literally wait in lines out the door for upwards of half an hour to use the one machine that does have money.  But then by the time you finally get your turn at the loaded ATM that one’s run out of money too. And people take FOREVER once they get to the machine too. I have no idea what they're typing in there, their life history?   So, a summary of visiting an ATM in Buenos Aires:  wait in line a half hour, walk out with no money.  It's absolutely baffling to me...
