Yesterday was nice because it rained for a bit which means the sun wasn't quite so strong! And today the weather is much more tolerable...or maybe we're just all getting used to it...haha. I'm currently hanging out at work, just put all of the bookings in for the day ad now there's just two of us in the office.
Yesterday the roommates and I took it easy since we all have busy weekends ahead of us...we did the usual dinner/conversation meeting in the kitchen at night...we also decided that since we don't like having to pay to go the pool or spending the time to get there and then wait in line, we are going to buy a blow up pool and take it to a park or plaza and fill it up there - I think we are actually intending on doing it too...haha.
This weekend is going to be INSANE though! Tonight is our Forocio event again known as "La Playa", then tomorrow is our 24 hour excursion to Pamplona to see ther running of the bulls at the San Fermin celebration. By 24 hour excursion, I mean that we are leaving tomorrow at 2 pm and arriving back at Madrid on Sunday at 2 pm (no hotel/sleeping arrangements involved)...so after pulling an all nighter at one of the mos famous events of Spain, there's no way we can miss seeing Spain play in the World Cup final on Sunday, so I guess that means we take a nap and head off to watch the game. I'm sure we'll have to be quite a few hours early since this game is going to be HUGE. If Spain wins, I don't imagine many businesses will be open the next day, and the town will probably be out of commission for a while....
Let's hope our event tonight doesn't go until 6am again like it did last weekend! Two all nighters in a row is no bueno....but at least there will be a lot of good picture taking opportunities and some good cultural experiences!
