So its been a little while since my last update!  Saturday after sleeping in a ton, I went to go see the World Cup (USA vs. England) with some Americans at an Irish pub.  Not gonna lie, we were quite outnumbered by British people, and the place was PACKED.  It was a ton of fun though, and just like the game I watched at the Mexican bar, everyone was very into the game and it was pretty hard for us Americans to compete with the cheers of the Englanders....fortunately they are very friendly people and still treated us really well despite the fact that we wanted their team to lose :)  Since it was an Irish pub, I was able to indulge in some food that was slightly more American compared to what I've ate this past week...steak and fries, oh YES I am quite American, haha.

Afterwards, we went to a tiny little sangria restaurant that was hidden in one of the side streets.  The place was jam packed (as most places in Madrid tend to be), but it was a very traditional looking spanish restaurant with some really unique architecture and art all over the walls...definitely worth the trouble!  Then later that night, I went to Susanne's and we started doing some trip planning...so far we are about 95% sure that we're going to go to Rome for a long weekend in July since the flight is only 70 euros....probably with RyanAir though which basically equals death, but oh well...

Sunday was a very lazy day, and I walked around, did a little shopping for a couple hours, but that was basically the extent of it.  It was nice to have a day to relax...this whole doing class for 4 hours everyday and then working for the rest of day is getting a little exhausting!  I asked if I could just stop with the class and do only the internship since that's what a couple other people did who have started already, but apparently that's actually not allowed.  No me gusta :(  So I guess I will have to stick out one more crazy busy week, and then I can spend more time doing some more touristy things and actually enjoy the city and my time here with everyone!

I'm now going to attempt to finish my project thats due for work and then headed off there for the rest of the afternoon!! Goodbye Monday!

**On a more positive note, the cold front that brought us rain and bad weather for the past 5 days is on its way out, and its getting warm and sunny again!
