I am convinced that each week of this trip continues to go faster than the last...last week was ridiculously quick.  Not that that's a bad thing, because it must mean I'm enjoying myself, but that also means saying goodbye will come much quicker and before I know it I will be on my way out of here :(

Wednesday I did end up going out with the roommates as planned, but it was kind of strange because Luigi (our lovely gay Italian roommate) took us to a really akward pub...luckily Eva (Czech roomie) and I were both on the same page about leaving early, so once the place closed 45 minutes later, we got out of there and went home!

Yesterday, work got a little crazy towards the last part of the shift.  We had a group of about 8 American students come in needing ISIC student cards (good thing we could at least speak English!), and right after that rush left, even more of their friends came...then some rando guy who wanted a receipt for something that I had no idea what the heck he was talking about.  As stressful as it was, it made me feel good to know that this time around my worries were about having too many people at one time to take care of, and I was no longer concerned about not being able to understand anyone.  I feel like this job has really pushed my Spanish in a forward direction, and having to work with the language in a professional setting puts me under a lot of pressure in a sense that I can't allow myself to NOT know the language.  Along with that, the managers Stefan and Frank seem to be trusting me more and more with things :) Last week we had a group of students who needed an accomodation change for where they were staying in a city called Alicante, and Frank left it up to me to get ahold of hotels and hostels, figure out what kind of deals we could get for these students that fit their needs, and get them to a new place in Alicante.  By the end of the day, it worked out successfully :)  Stefan also seems to trust me the most with sending emails to businesses for clients who request us to find information with them, so its really could to know that they see me as a reliable intern!  I would say that my biggest fear when I got here was not being able to handle the job and have them give me a bunch of useless work because it would be all they dared to do...and now that I know thats not the issue, I feel so much more at ease and satisfied with the internship position.

Today at work was wayyyy calmer, as it usually is on Friday.  WE got no emails after 11:00 am and all we did was transfer calls to Frank all day...haha.  On the bright side, it gives us some time to catch up on facebooking and anything else like that!

Tonight we are having a gathering in our flat which Xixi, Natsuho, and Katie will be attending as well...then we will all head off to our discoteca La Playa and see where the night goes from there!  I'm quite excited to hang out with BOTH the roomies and some of my close friends from other parts of Madrid as well.

My roommate Eva and I also made an abrupt decision to go to Valencia on Sunday...well actually Saturday night into Monday morning with some bus sleep included, but its basically the same :)  We're quite excited about it!

Also, our good Italian roommate Luigi leaves us tomorrow....no more Italian dinners from here on out :(
