I am currently located in svolvaer in the lofoten islands, which is within the artcic circle. The weather is suprising warm and sunny here despite the location, except for the wind which can be very cool. It is an absolutely picturesque place...a sea town surrounded by craggy peaks, many of which still have snow on them. I am staying at hammerstad camping ground 10km north of town(very lovely place) and just came in to buy food supplies with shean and mark. We scored a huge amount of smoked salmon for 15 dollars. Lots of fish around and lots of fishy smells too. The 3 hour boat ride to svolavaer from bodo was totally awesome...the views were amazing and we could really enjoy them since we spend alot of the trip on the top deck watching the mountains and the tiny lonely towns pass by our boat. The wind at the front of the boat was raging and shean almost lost his glasses to the wind while mark got repeatedly hit in the head by his lens cap as he tried to take pictures.

Must go, my bus out of town leaves in a few minutes.
