Deep into Permanculture now.

Classes: Principles, Methods of Design, Ethics, Site Planning and Analysis----Group decided to design an interactive, cutting edge school for children learning about permaculture and sustainable living from all over the world---and right here in Pirenopolis. (this means 'cool' in Brazilian Portuguese)We also spent some time looking at how much Carbon we released as a group into the atmosphere as a result of our travel and how we can change our behviour going forward to reduce our carbon footprint---and how Living Routes will make up the difference through a fund that invests in projects in ecovillages that respond positively to the challenges of Peak Oil and Climate Destablization---including solar cookers, wind power, earth building, afforestation, etc---Other highlights were singing songs and learning essential language skills (like legal!) and of course the graceful athletic movements and rhythms of  Capoiera which got us all moving our bodies, playing instruments and building up a sweat before dinner---Check out some great pics and a video . Finally, the night sky was so full of stars that it was hard to close the door and hit the hay---The milky was was as thick as clouds----nos vemos amenhana! Legal, nao?!--
