Summer down under

This journal will be talking about my experiences before and during our class excursion to Crystal Waters in AU. Hopefully anyone will be able to look through these and get a good laugh as well as learning something.

 Community

I really don't have any expectations about living and learning this summer, only that I have fun and keep my mind open to learn as much as I can from everyone.  To be perfectly honest I don't really have many experiences with community.. except for when I was very little and the street I lived on and the streets around it would have a block party once a summer.  But after my family and I moved across town I have to be perfectly honest, we don't really do anything with the community.  I'm hoping that I can share my enthuiasiam with people in intertional community and that I can answer any questions they ask me with truth and knowledge.  I absolutly think that community has a role to plat in modern culture's shift.  I think it would be a lot eaiser for a community to run a sustainable lifestyle rather than a single person.  Not only that but the more people who are in the community and the more turn to a sustainable lifestyle the better the world will become.
