 Anthropoid Charm School

Monkeys are a pain in the ass.  If you've traveled in countries where monkeys run rampant, you know that.  If not, you probably still think they are cute.  It only takes one time having your backpack swiped or feces thrown at you in order to change your perception of these little devils.  In many areas or India, monkeys are a nuisance, dodging cars in the streets and stealing from vendors.  The state of Punjab has found a solution though (or so it hopes).  The Central Zoo of Punjab has just approved a "monkey rehabilitation centre".  Monkeys will be trapped in urban areas and taken to the center where they will received medical treatment and "good-behaviour training".  Ideally, these monkeys, once taught the proper etiquette for functioning in human society, will in turn teach other monkeys appropriate ways to acquire food and express their frustrations.  In the end, it is the hope of the center that Punjab's 65,000 will be fully reformed into successful, functioning members of society, or decide to move back to the jungle where they can continue their crazy monkey behavior unmolested.
