So finally after three days i got my bags!  I have done some exploring around bangkok and its cool.  I visited the Grand Temple and a few other major sites to see.  There are massive structures and all made with a great deal of extravagance and detail. the city is huge. Coming from a city like New York it is way more spread out and at the same time just as hectic where ever you go. very few parts of the city sleep at night so no matter when you want to go out there is always somewhere to be.  I leave for Chaing Mai tomorrow and to get there I am taking the overnight train. That should be fun. Im excited to take that journey to the northern part of Thailand and to start my program. I hear there is much work i am going to be doing there so I have already started the mental preparation.  But I am excited that I DO get to come back to Bangkok after the month is over.
