I woke up late today. Anyway, Brazil killed Ghana today. Ghana put forth pretty good effort. I got to eat empanadas for lunch & I was able to eat 3 though next time I'll probably order 2. One was filled with spicy meat, one with chicken, and one with cheese & onion. Delicious!!! If you don't know what an empanada is, and you live in a state with a high population of Latinos (like California, Florida, New York) then I'm sure you can find them somewhere! I walked around the mall just to see it. Overpriced just like any mall. Some random guy who works in my apartment building gave me his number (since I didn't offer mine & nor do I know it by heart) and said to call him sometime to go out for a pizza. Since he's a stranger, I probably won't call him. He speaks English pretty well but doesn't understand it very well. I got to use the internet & chat with some of you. It's like a dollar an hour. I'm working on getting my dial-up here in the apartment. For dinner I ate some cheese and a glass of wine (once I finally got the cork out) and a granola bar and some water and some of this soda called QU4-TRO (that's how they spell it on the bottle). I'll probably have a second round of dinner later since it's only like 8pm and I have to eat dinner at 11pm like the Argentines. I watched a little bit of the Simpsons (in Spanish of course, which makes it that much more enjoyable). They did a great job on Marge's voice. It sounds exactly the same only she's speaking Spanish. Maybe the lady who does her voice is bilingual!!! I called some of my uncle's relatives today. It looks like I'll be visiting Sylvia and Ricardo on Saturday & I'm excited to meet them! They're playing A Midsummer Nights Dream at the theater (Teatro Colón) so maybe I'll cruise out to see that Friday night. Shakespeare in Spanish would be spectacular I imagine.
