Argentina

I went to Argentina to take a TEFL course. I stayed for 6 amazing weeks. I not only learned to teach English, I also learned to tango. AND I got to take a trip with L.I.F.E. Argentina, a local NGO.

Ok so I need to stop sleeping in. I guess a couple of days of sleeping in is forgivable to help make up for the last few months of sleep deprivation. So, I may be able to understand the Argentines when they speak & they usually understand me, however when it comes to speaking to someone on the telephone (who speaks super rápido) and we're trying to set up internet (dial-up) on my computer in the apartment it's very difficult. If my windows program were in Spanish, problem partially solved but I'm having to translate the options & commands I see on my screen into Spanish for the guy on the phone & it didn't work. We'll try again another day… I went to Carrefour again today & couldn't find peanut butter but I'll totally survive. I just love walking around that place. It's so HUGE. I think I pretty much know where to find everything now. I have an hour of daylight so chau!!!

My main prayers for myself are:
*to take advantage of my time and study God's truth and meditate on his word
*to not allow loneliness to creep in and discourage me (it's not an issue presently)
*to faithfully pray for my family, friends, fellow brothers/sisters around the world
* "Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground" (Psalm 143:10)

love to all!
