My First Trip to China

A journal about my first travel experience in China. I'll be having a therapy here for my scoliosis, hopefully my spine gets better.

There's no facebook here in China! Good thing there's GoAbroad.net! =)

It's thursday! We had a buffet breakfast in the hotel. I'm shocked with the hotel policy. Only one occupant in a room can enjoy free breakfast. So, if there are two of you, the other one should pay for his meal. And since it's a very expensive breakfast, I decided to taste everything! Hehe.. After having my first round, Aunt Ester came told us that we should hurry up. The elders are already waiting for us the lobby. How sad, the elders are really abrupt people.

Nino's mom, bid farewell. We then boarded a bullet train back to Quanzhou at 10:30 am.

We directly went to the hospital for our therapy. Afterwards, a-pe Zhi Qiong fetched us in the hospital. We will be staying with him for the next few days. The elders asked us to call them if we decided to go back to them.

We have no idea where he lives. Even Aunt Ester doesn't know. After 45 minutes, we reached his condo. We were arguing as to why we decided right away to live in his place. It's too far away from the hospital. Then a-pe told us that he took the long cut to tour us around Chi-mong and according to him it only takes around 15 minutes to the hospital. Ahhh, ok. =)

His condominium is different from the first condominiums that I saw. His was already very old. He didn't have glass stairs either. At least he has hot and cold shower. And he was doing everything to make us feel at home. =)

After putting our bags in our bedroom, we went to a-pe's elder sister. We will be having our dinner their. A-pe told us that they cooked a lot of food for us.

When we arrived to a-pe Zhi Qiong's achi's house. They gave us a warm welcome, again with tea in their living room. After conversing in the living room, they decided that we should start eating our dinner. They cooked a lot of food and we should eat everything that they have prepared for us! Help! I don't want to get fat! =(

We went back to a-pe's house. It's already late in the evening and we have to get up early tomorrow morning for our therapy.

Now, we're living the average Chinese life. It's nice to see and admire the beauty of China and it's culture in a different perspective.
