We had a good time dancing to the music and chatting.

Today we went to class and as soon as we got there it began to downpour like someone was throwing giant buckets from the sky upon Ormskirk. Dr. H ended up being really late for class, but we had a really fun class today. We talked about tales of King Arthur based in the book Le Morte 'd Arthur by Thomas Mallory. At one point we were talking about Sir Gawain and the Green Knight and Dr. Haavisto cracked up describing it to us and laughed for nearly fifteen minutes. We also talked about some predominant characteristics of the British peoples. I quite enjoyed class today. We really had a good time reading about King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table.

After class we ate lunch at the Water's Edge, an on campus cafe. I had a pizza panini that wasn't as good as I was hoping for. It had some kind of sausage in it that I was not a big fan of. Afterwards, I came back to my room and did homework. I managed to finish the book I was reading for one of my classes called Kidnapped by Robert Louis Stevenson. I really enjoyed this book. It really did take you on a geographical journey of Scotland which I loved about it because I am going to Scotland after we finish here in England. So it gave me an idea of what to expect when we go up there. It also showed me that even though the Lowlander main character thought his friend the Highlander was backwards in his morals, he held true to his friend because as his friend he should be loyal. Also even though the Highlander's morals were backward he held fast to them and followed them through and through.

After I finished my book I took a break from homework and did crossword puzzles in the book that Matthew bought for me. I enjoyed the stimulation of the puzzles. After some time of doing crosswords, Tori, Emily, and I went over to the Venue and hung out there with Kevin, Lauren, Courtney, Alice, John, and Andrew. We had a good time dancing to the music and chatting. Jo El stopped by for a little while, just enough to say hi and then she disappeared back to the dorms. After about two hours Tori, Emily, and I went back to the dorms and chatted with Shona and Hannah. After all this I was exhausted and I fell asleep after talking for about half an hour with Matthew online.
