with my family in salzburg, austria: trying to get back to our B&B from the city. I don't think I can ever describe it appropriately, but here are the highlights of the evening: 1- my father attempting to speak and understand german 2- the almost-naked, spandex-wearing, rollerskating man who kept appearing in different places 3- two men chilling their beer bottles in a public water fountain 4- a fight breaking out between two men - they fought for a few minutes, ripped each others' shirts, then walked away calmly 5- a very large protest of the economic conference that was taking place in salzburg during our stay. every time my family and i discuss this evening, we have to stop because we are laughing too hard.
