Heredia,
Costa Rica

I knew it was the biggest Ecological reserve in the world, and now I am certain of that!
I just finished a major in Geography at the University of North Carolina, and decided to visit as many countries as my budget allowed me to. Also, since I’m no longer studying I finally had the time to improve my Spanish, so I combined both needs and came to Heredia.
I did a lot of research, and then I got more information from Easy Go about Costa Rica and Heredia and many useful tips to move around. So I wasn’t concerned at all.
Before coming I knew it was the biggest Ecological reserve in the world, and now I am certain of that!
The first thing that caught my attention was the kindness of the people, not that I expected them to be rude, but they are specially nice and caring. I will leave a bunch of new good friends here.
The everyday life here is quite different from the States, and maybe the first days it was hard to get use to people being so relaxed all the time. I guess I was used to being stressed or running all the time. But once I got used to it I really took advantage of this laid back city.
In a heartbeat!
I have been out on many nights and had a great time! Some nights I was just exhausted from all the activities Easy Go’s school planned for us, so I decided to sleep instead of going out.
