So I am finally writing you from my computer! This morning I woke up at 7:30 to walk 15 minutes out of town to go pick up my computer cord from the post office. They open at 8:30 which in Italy means 8:45 then I had to hoof it to class. I am so happy. I am slowly uploading pictures, hopefully later today I will have some to send to you.

So the last two days of class have been fun. We've been watching the HBO series of Rome. It is very entertaining. It is pretty much lots of violence and crude humor but its a good time. We have been going into the history of Islam. It has been very interesting. I am almost done reading my book on Istanbul. I am excited to move onto the next book.

We shared our papers today about our family heritages. It was nice. I started working on my second paper which is a response to our trip the other week. I am writing about what surprised, delighted, impressed, and disgusted me for each city we visited. It is nice to reflect.

My roommate Keisha is gone for the weekend to visit a friend in France. It is nice to get some along time. We were going to go to Pisa this weekend but since we are going to leave for our big trip next Friday we thought we might need a break. We have been preparing for our trip in our classes, getting as much information as possible.

Cadence's parents are visiting. They went to Venice last week and now are visiting Alba. They seem nice. I have been getting pizza to go and trying to save my meal vouchers for when jacki comes so that she doesn't have to put out too much money. She will be here in April. I am working out what I want to do for Spring Break which begins when I get back from this long trip. I am thinking of a trip to France, traveling around. I really want to see the Louvre and a lot of other areas.

For my personal travel week I will probably visit Jacki in Germany. I am pretty excited. Keisha's mom is coming to live and teach Paul's children in April when we return. It should be fun. The weather has been cold but there is hope for warmth soon.

Tonight I have a skype date with the lovely Linda and Arnie. Hopefully we can get everything to work, technology is wonderful when everything works out well. Hopefully later this weekend I will also get to skype with Sheila and Reba.

We have one more hour of class and then we have a break until we go to the vineyard. I am excited. Later I am going to have dinner than try to get working on getting the pictures to all of you. Miss you guys.

Ciao.
