Hello.

So third day in Rome but second day of tours. Rome is beautiful. Very touristy though. It is not the best time we could have been having because its been raining since we got here. Its been cold and yucky but it could be worse.

Our first day after I went to the internet cafe we went to dinner and then got some ice cream and checked out the pantheon and other such buildings a little. Didnt sleep too well because I couldnt get the shower to give me hot water. The next day we met our tour guide at the Colliseum. It was very nice and I took some good pictures. I have been taking way too many pictures but its ok. You guys will love it when I get back.

After that we went to the Forum which is a series of ruins, of palaces and other such beautiful things including parks. Its a good walk. Chilled by Julius Caesars old house. Then we went to lunch together, it was nice. They don't have pepparoni pizza but they do have hot salami pizza which is similiar so I got that. After lunch we went to a beautiful museum which housed lots of good art and sculptures.

Then we relaxed a little and went back to the hotel and then went to dinner. After dinner we went out a little but not long and chilled and talked. This morning we met our guide early to see the vatican. We went into St. Peters Church and then to the Vatican museum and the Sistine chapel. It was all so beautiful. The line to get into the Vatican museum was over an hour though and standing in the rain. Pretty cold but definitely worth it.

So I am seeing amazing things and experiencing so much. Its hard to believe. I am loving it. The vatican and the church were amazing. Tonight we are going to dinner then maybe checking out Roman nightlife. We will see. I am excited for what is to come. Including the 22 hour ferry to Greece on Sunday. It should all be a lot of fun.

So the head of housing is going to talk to Christen, maybe he can help us out. If not we are living in a suite. Thats all to report now.

I will be in touch when I can.

Love you guys

Kat
