Viva la Argentina

For the next 2 months, I will be spending my time in Argentina dining with local Argentinians, exploring the foreign streets that aren´t quite what I would call familiar, and seeing the world under different lights. I will begin in Cordoba, travel South to Mendoza, drop even further South to Bariloche, make my way back up to Buenos Aires, and then complete the circle in Cordoba. Deseenme suerte!

I am currently in Buenos Aires right now, and it is fabulous. It is by far the most beautiful, alive, and energetic city I have been to. Quite a contrast coming from Mendoza, where I began my travels.

I began travelling in Mendoza about a week ago, and it is a very scenic and calm place to visit. It is surrounded by so much geodiversity, which provides all sorts of activities between rafting to skiing. The central city itself is somewhat low key and personal, but it´s not too small. There is so much scenic activity to participate in.

From Mendoza, I took a bus to Buenos Aires, where I got an enitrely different feel for a city. This city is lit with excitement, and there is always something to do and something to see. Buenos Aires is like no other city in Argentina, and some may say in South America. The restaraunts, shopping, and people are all very diverse: almost like New York, where anything goes.

I still have many places to explore and many sites to see, but I have enjoyed this beautiful city more than any other!
