 You take the high road and I’ll take the low/ And I’ll be in Scotland before ye/ Where me and my true love will never meet again/ On the bonny, bonny banks of Loch Lomond 

These past two days have been somewhat of a blur. We visited the castle of the Duke of Argyll, which was pretty cool, but after hearing that story about the Argyll soldiers, I’m frankly surprised there’s still a castle standing!

We also arrived in Glasgow today, and it’s such a cool place. Michael wasn’t lying when he said that it had the best shopping in all of Britian. I liked it better than shopping London too. We also visited Inverary Castle and Loch Lomond today. Loch Lomond was really quite picturesque and the park that we stopped in was breathtakingly gorgeous. (Also, around that area was where some of the scenes of Hogwarts were shot for the Harry Potter movies!) Michael played us another song today that went something like: You take the high road and I’ll take the low/ And I’ll be in Scotland before ye/ Where me and my true love will never meet again/ On the bonny, bonny banks of Loch Lomond. It was a beautiful song, but also (obviously) quite sad.

Unfortunately, we also had to say goodbye to Keith and Michael today. Tomorrow we take our ferry to Belfast and will be meeting a new bus driver and tour guide. I’m sorry to be leaving them, as Keith and Michael have been awesome, but I am quite excited to see Ireland!
