after long planning where to spend my birthday for this year, at first I thought I will go to Paris, then I was thinking of going to hongkong in time for the opening of disney in HK. Unfortunately my boyfriend was scheduled for a business trip to Indonesia. At first, I thought - gush this isnt the place I would rather be on my birthday. After so the many attempts of rescheduling his trip, there was no way its not happening. 2 days before the trip, I changed my plan of going to HK. so, I bought a ticket to Indonesia. There are no direct flights from Saigon, so I have to go via Singapore and then Jakarta. So, finally I sat on the plane to Indonesia, the weather was not promising when I left Saigon as well as when I arrived Jakarta. Thick clouds covered the sky, and there is a sign of rain. For a minute, I thought this is not going to be good, although excited to see Blue, but the weather was depressing. Came out of the airport, its good to fly on business, you dont really have to cue, and plus I travel light so, I dont have anything to check in. Got away so quick that I didnt remember ever passing by immigration.
As soon as I got out of the airport, I went looking for the counter of the hotel where Blue was waiting for me. There were so many people outside most of them airport representative, some tourist and mostly taxi drivers. I walked around looking for signs of Four Seasons, nobody seems to know. I checked with some of the drivers who by the way started talking to me in their language. I didnt know if this is a good sign but I guess I looked like an Indonesian. Hmmm..
So, finally, I hopped into a car - what seems to me like a limousine, black, with huge space and very comfortable. Although, I didnt really find the Four Seasons stand at the airport I took the chances of going in the car. The driver didnt seem to know where it is either, so on the way he was calling colleagues to tell him where to go. suddenly, I had the feeling that I was lost.
