What is your most embarrassing travel experience?

My friend Viki and I were visiting the ruins of an ancient monastery in Hungary. We were going down some crumbling stairs and I completely misjudged where the edge of the stair was. I ended up tumbling down the entire flight of stairs, tearing apart my knees and fracturing my foot. It was terribly embarrassing.
