I woke up this morning and got ready to meet up with Jackie and Lauren for breakfast at 10:30 when they were done with class. After breakfast we headed to the library to begin working on our journal entries and reading assignments. At 1:00pm we headed to class with Dick. Unfortunately, I was not very happy with my quiz grade and Michael had to put up with me pouting about it while the Shakespeare class met. At least I know what to expect now. After that we went to Ormskirk as a class for a tour. I took notes on almost everything that was said because I have issues and am already worrying about that one quiz grade. Yes, I am a nerd. In Ormskirk we all took turns reading short paragraphs and explaining certain landmarks to the class. Andrew stood out to be the groups’ best tour guide. After the tour I went shopping with Jackie and Lauren and ran some errands. It was relaxing just walking around Ormskrik and acting like a local. After about an hour we met up with Michael, Kevin, and Andrew at a pub and sat and talked for a while. Lauren informed Kevin that the bartender was looking at him so he went and worked his charm for a while and flirted with her while we ate warm beer nuts. After that, Jackie, Michael, Lauren, and I went to the library to work on our journals. After about two hours they announced that the library was closing so we took a short break and then migrated to the LIC. I was working on my journals when Andrew, Kevin, and Lauren came in and said they were going to town. Jackie said that she wanted to finish her journals, but I asked them if they would wait a few minutes for me. I guess they didn’t hear me because I’m still here in the LIC writing and they left. So, that’s the end of Monday night. Me, being my normal self, sitting doing work.
