So I arrived in Jamaica today. After almost 12 hours of travel time, I am finally home. I flew in to Kingston because Sr. Susan could pick me up easier there. I wasn't sure where to meet her, so i figured I would go out on the sidewalk, away from all of the Jamaicans and stand by myself. She figured that i would do the same, so she ended up finding me. We had a nice drive back to Bosco, about 3 hours. It was a weird feeling this time. Driving through Jamaica in the past seemed so different, and it took getting used to, but this time, it just felt natural, like i belong here. Sr. had driven me from Kingston a couple times last year, so i felt like i really never left. It is hard to believe a whole year has passed since the last time i was here. When I got to Bosco, I out my stuff in James' house where i will be staying for my trip. Then, i walked up to the playfield where i knew the boys were. The first person to greet me (by yelling "Skinny" from halfway down the road) was Dougie. I was really suprised that he remembers my name (or at least what my boys call me). Then the other boys started to say hi to me. They literally started talking to me as if I had never left. I experience that every time i am here, but this is the first time that i have arrived at Bosco on my own. They wondered if I had brought any Wright State people with me, and i told them that Wright State just left. They knew that, but just wanted to make sure. They are used to me being here all alone because i spent the second half of December here on my own last year. I could only visit the boys for a little while because they had to get their showers and go to bed. I went to the convent for dinner and had leftover Curry and rice. After that, i went back up to the school to watch TV with the boys, but they were just finishing up. I guess that I will have to wait til tomorrow to really play with them. That's all for now!
