I am doing an Events Planning internship abroad in Florence, Italy for 4 months. I am learning Italian and their unique culture. I'm so intrigued on how they speak and live their daily lives. I can't wait to share my experience with you!

Top 10 things to do in Italy

I am in my last month and have yet to accomplish this whole list, but will. Me and my roommates came up with a list of things I have done, what they have done and what we would recommend others to see while staying/visiting in Florence. Did you know that The Colosseum and the Leaning tower of Pisa are 2 of the 7 wonders of the Medieval Mind? Read this blog, print it out and have the best experience ever, while you are Italy.

Rome! For me it is one of the most historical places in the world. There is so much to see!!! The Trevi fountain, the Colosseum, the Sistine Chapel…oh it’s fabulous.

Venice! Carnivale was one of the craziest and most memorable experiences of my life. They take it to extremes and don’t hold anything back. Eat at the legendary, “Barcaro Jazz” Restaurant. We have a drawing on the wall in there… go check it out. Ten years down the line I will be going there to see it.

Milan! I have not been there, but my roommate told me it is an amazing, non-stop shopping spree. You don’t need money to enjoy it because they have one of the most gorgeous duomo’s ever...or so I’ve heard.

Pisa! You have got to go to the infamous Leaning Tower of Pisa. I will be traveling there next week and even though that is all Pisa has to offer, it is such a unique piece of work.

Florence! I love living in this city. It is perfect and has so much to offer. It is home of the David, the Ponte Vecchio and the most magnificent and well- know museums; the Uffizi.

Sienna! This quaint town in Chianti where they hold horse races twice a year in the summer.

Cinque Terre! One word… BREATHTAKING! This hidden treasure in Chianti has the most amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea. Hike through trails and walk over old wooden bridges to their 5 unique villages.

Naples! Go get the best pizza of your life and visit their neighboring town Pompeii, where they had that massive volcano erupted and buried the town under 60 feet of ash and pumice.

Chianti! Get ready to have your breath taken away by seeing the most out standing views of vineyards and olive trees. Go on the tours of the vineyards, drink their homemade wines and indulge in classic olive oil and breads.

Verona! Go back in time to the most romantic city! Learn about Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and visit the stunning Lake Garda.
