Chi ama la cioccolata? (Who loves chocolate?) This past weekend in Florence they had a huge chocolate fest. It smelled incredible and as I was walking there with my class we could smell it lingering in the air. We arrived and felt as if we were in a scene from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. They had chocolate fondue, white chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, spicy chocolate and many more! I had hot chocolate and it was literally like eating a melted Hershey's bar. It was so thick and creamy you had to eat it with a spoon. The most interesting thing I saw were tools such as wrench's or locks with keys that were all made out of chocolate. They looked so fake and had a rusted look to them, but every part of it was edible. The samples they gave out were to die for. They gave out white chocolate breakup and dried fruit dipped in chocolate, plus chocolate gelato. If you are in Florence from the 21-25 of January, you must go and experience the best chocolate in the world and meet Chocolate Connoisseurs at Firenze Chocolate Fest.
