.....the little dog bite my finger and I screamed like a 5 year old girl.
Did you know that Pisa was built in 1173 and is the most visited place in Tuscany? I learned that as they were building it they didn't take into consideration that it is impossible to stack marble on a shifting soil foundation. They stopped construction after they saw it was leaning, but then picked it back up in 1275. It is such and an interesting piece of work, that just happens to be one of the Seven Wonders of the World! I went there with four of my friends by train and spent the day sightseeing. There isn't too much to see in Pisa, so it's a perfect get up late and go there late afternoon. You can catch a gorgeous sunset off their bridges, which are very familiar to Florence's. They have many cute coffee shops and we stopped in one to get Gelato and cappuccino's. Mmmmmm....they were good! As we were walking to the grass to lounge on, I saw this cute little dog. Some lady said something in Italian and when I looked up the little dog bite my finger and I screamed like a 5 year old girl. It was a hard bite for such a little dog. I finally found out she said, "Sometimes he likes to be pet and sometimes he doesn't!" I said, "Great....i'm not petting and more dogs for the rest of my trip!"
