As I am sitting in the airport waiting for my connecting flight to Dublin everything is still feeling unreal.  I probably should have come into this more prepared, but at the same time I’m glad I didn’t.  This way I will have no expectations to be let down, and I will be able to pick up on things and live like the Irish actually do, instead of how I have read that they do.  The US dollar to euro exchange rate is going to take some getting used to, I stopped by the currency exchange before getting to my terminal and was shocked at how much I seemingly lost in the process.  However I am sure that is not the only thing that will take some adjusting to during this semester.  Only one hour left, before I’m away from home for the next four or five months and I am excited and a little nervous to take on the next 2995 miles of my voyage to Dublin.
